FAQs
Below you will find many Frequently Asked Questions that I receive from my clients, typically for weddings but also relevant towards performances for any special event!
What is your rate for performances and private lessons?
Please send me an email at rosecrelliviolin@gmail.com inquiring about performance and private lesson rates. I offer hourly violin lesson and performance rates, as well as package deals for weddings and special event performances over 1 hour.
Do you take unlimited special song requests?
Yes I do! Unlimited special song requests are included within my rate for no additional charge. I can play any song you can think of, and if you can’t find the specific song that you’re looking for within my existing music library of over 300 songs, just let me know and I will learn and add it! I love taking special requests from my clients, whether it’s for your proposal, party, ceremony entrance songs, wedding exit song, or first dance song. All I request is that special song requests are submitted to me a minimum of 2 to 3 weeks before the wedding date.
Do you use backing instrumental tracks?
Yes! Unless I am at a venue where amplified music and speakers aren’t allowed, or the bride/groom specifically asks for unaccompanied violin, I will be playing with backing instrumental tracks.
Do you play electric or acoustic?
I can play either acoustic or electric violin, whichever you prefer!
How do I book my special event date?
First, send me an email at rosecrelliviolin@gmail.com, call or text me at 907-590-5181, fill out my website contact page, or fill out the Book a Violin Performance form on Google forms. Once I know the date, time and location for your event, I will send you a blank contract to sign and return to me. I request a deductible security deposit to be submitted along with the signed contract. Once the contract and deposit are received, your date is locked in and you’re booked!
Do you charge a travel rate?
For events outside of the San Francisco city perimeter, I charge a .75cent/mile travel rate round trip.
Will you attend the wedding rehearsal?
My rehearsal rate for weddings is offered at a reduced rate from the performance hourly. The majority of the weddings that I perform for, I do not attend the rehearsal and everything runs smoothly and flawlessly. I have performed for over a hundred weddings and am very familiar with the timing, coordination and idiosyncrasies of weddings.
Do you perform with other ensembles?
Yes! In addition to electric or acoustic violin, you may also book me with a DJ, string quartet, string trio, string duo, or as a violinist with vocalist.
Can you recommend other vendors (photographers, planners, videographers, DJs, etc)
Yes! I am happy to help recommend a ton of amazing vendors and wedding industry professionals that I have worked and collaborated with! From venues, wedding planners, photographers, videographers and DJs, I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside numerous talented and skilled vendors at beautiful locations and venues.
